Glo Bible App Reviews

Glo has such potential but in reality it is fair at best. It crashes almost every other time I use it on my mobile device so I have to delete the app and then download it again even to open it. I still cannot get it to work on my laptop. Customer service seems put-out when contacted and takes forever to respond.

I have an iPhone 6 and the app used to crash now, it just will not open. I have deleted it and installed it again and it dies the same. Please fix!!!

It was working perfectly last Sunday. But this past Sunday it wouldnt go beyond the logo screen. Please fix because I really love this app.

Support is useless. Ignore your problems and when you wait for an answer they send email its closed because you didnt email while waiting. This should be run by Christians ? Wasted the money spent on the extras on this app. Bible+ and Accordance are much better apps and their support is the best.

This app used to be good, as a matter of fact it used to be great and I would use it everyday. Now , unfortunately it will not even boot up. The publisher must have abandoned it. Sad, I really enjoyed using it on my iPad and iPhone when teaching children.

Over all YouVersion is better. With Glo you only have one version with YouVersion you have many. The added content is nice but locks up periodically and the app has to be restarted. Considering YouVersion is free and Glo is $39 its really no worth it. YouVersion is pretty flawless.

Im still learning all of the features, but Ive had this app for quite some time. Its all I use! Its quick and user friendly. Ive never had any technical issues with as some of the other reviewers mention. I highly recommend it as great compliment to your hand-held bible.

Like many of us, we love this app.But please fix the freeze up or crash problem.I have been having to trash and reinstall app to make it work. Thank you

Ive had a regular print bible for 4EVR and ever since GLO I can share my daily scriptures with my beloveds! In the BG days (before GLO XD) I had to walk outside my mobile home and just start yelling my daily scriptures for anyone to hear the good word! And putting on pants while I do it? FORGET ABOUT IT! But now I can just use my GLO app from the comfort of my own space, copy and paste the word into MySpace and BAM! Salvation! THANK YOU GLO

The app shows only the glow logo and never opens. Loved it when I could use it!

Very complete and easy to use app. But, there have been performance issues for awhile. Please fix!!

I GOT THIS APP AND PAID $2.99 FOR THE GLO READER NEITHER WILL OPEN I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND THATS CRAZY BECAUSE I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO USING THIS.... EVERY TIME I TRY TO USE EITHER APP AND SIGN IN FROM FB IT SAYS ITS NOT SUPPORTED IM CONTACTING CUSTOMER CARE FOR A FULL REFUND THIS APP IS HORRIBLE!!!!

I gave it 4 stars because if you have an iPad, its 5 stars. It really shines and you will love it. Buy it, now. If you are just using it on your iPhone, then Id say 3 stars. It works, sorta. It will let you read the Bible, but this app was obviously developed for the iPad and ported to the other platforms.

If the app worked itd be a Great addition to my study references. Kids love it when it works. Must fix problems. It wont open.

I hate to sound like a jerk but God does not appear to be on their side. This app has a plague of locusts! It crashes far too often. Ive lost my notes twice. I would write this on my iPad but Glo Bibles rate screen is frozen and wont react. That is almost as bad as it crashing while trying to update. Does it think its god? I thought updates were up to me. The look of the app is beautiful but as tempting as it is it is unusable at this stage. Download Blue Letter Bible instead. It crashes too but not as often as Glo Bible. I cannot recommend it. Maybe they should take it down And fix the bugs. If negative stars or rotten tomatoes were an option I would mark those.

I have read posts on this board that date back two years with the same issue- go to access the app and all I get is the opening screen. Reboot my iPhone and it still wont work. But I did use it this morning at service and diligently added notes and references to a great message. Now trying to access that treasure and cannot. Please, for the love of everything Holy fix this issue!
