They removed the tabs

Having tabs to have multiple passages open at once was the best thing about this app. Taking those out was an awful awful choice

Two thumbs up!

The best bible app! Period.

Update ruined app

Loved this app until the last update. Now it doesnt work at all.

Wow. This doesnt work. At all.

New update is useless. Opens too slowlyWont navigate. Locks up the phone. My favorite tool in teaching youth Sunday school is now completely useless.

Ummm ... what were you thinking ?

Used to be great but I have absolutely no idea what they were trying to do with this recent version. I have had the full paid version for several years now and thought it was fantastic. It had elegant graphics and was easy to navigate, the photos and art integrated well into the books / verses, and just a wonderful, inviting app (if the term can be applied to an app) I dont know what the devs were thinking here with this awful "down-date". The first thing I noticed was the generic white blog style and then thing where you had to choose between this ridiculous boy or girl color scheme nonsense. My wife was really upset and simply refused to investigate it any further and deleted the app immediately after the update. I made it a couple days longer before uninstalling. I wont even bother getting into the details because this app has already wasted my time trying to figure out where all the stuff went and why they changed basically everything about the other version. Its simply a hard-to-navigate, generic, directionless mess now. Dont bother. I want my money back because they turned this into something completely different that what I originally purchased.

Removes PAID FOR features for existing users, premature release

This 2.0 version is hostile to existing users, and lowers your trust in this app and the developer. Would you buy an app knowing that the developer would remove features that you have already paid for and ask you for a monthly fee to hold for ransom what you already had access to? The good: * updated interface and icon brings the app look and feel into the iOS 7 realm (thanks, we are on iOS 9 now, but ok, finally). * new vertical scroll may be better than the swipe "turn page" version. * thats it. nothing else good. The bad: * PAID TRANSLATIONS VANISH. Existing users who update LOSE access to translations (I have paid for NIV, and NKJV, and they are gone... ) This is a Bible app... Try to imagine how people would feel if you ripped pages out of their Bible... * MONEY GRAB SWITCH TO PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION. Previously you could one time purchase a premium subscription, giving access to Bible related media. Now you have to pay $5 a month. How much new media will they provide each month to justify the new subscription charges? A one-time fee was better for users. Strike two. * PREMATURE RELEASE. Translation issues are said by dev to be related to publisher rights issues. App description says they will come back... why not realease your new app when all of that is taken care of? "Settings" access within app is counter intuitive. Real settings are here and there, difficult to find, and what is labeled "Settings" only contains About, Change Password, and offers links to "like" them on FB. MAYBE new users will like it-- but BEWARE. You dont know what features this developer will rip out of your Bible and hold hostage for a monthly fee... As an existing user, I am actively searching for a replacement, such as YouVersion (another subscription model) or Logos Bible! (expensive, per book purchases, but at least they dont have a reputation for changing their model.

Ruined the App

Why in the world would you guys destroy such a good app? This used to be my favorite Bible app to use by far, but not anymore. The changes are not good. I hope I can keep my iPad version from updating.

Asleep at the wheel

Your "upgrade" has destroyed years of notes. Why would you ruina program that worked well? If youre trying to serve your customers, you missed it by a mile. All my notes that were associated with specific passages are no longer associated with any passage. Why didnt you put a disclaimer in large bold letters saying, "If you upgrade, youll lose note/vs association."? Incredibly disappointed in the app. It is confusing, hard to follow, poorly thought through, completely lacking in customer service response. Anyone thinking of downloading this app - please dont waste your hard earned money. You will be frustrated with an inefficient and sloppy app. The developers are obviously asleep at the wheel.

Messed with a good thing

Used to be good now crashes.

The Glo Bible is so impressive!

Im very anxious to see if the latest update fixes the continuous crashes Ive been experiencing. I tried to use my Glo Bible in Sunday School and during service but had to put it away, the constant crashes was trying to effect my worship.

Dont waste your money on premium version

There are many wonderful Bible apps available. I got the Glo Bible and purchased the premium version to use the extra features (maps, videos, pictures). The format used to be very intuitive and the features were readily accessible while reading. They have updated it so that those features, while they are there somewhere, are virtually inaccessible. You have to tap the screen while reading and a list comes up of one feature only, such as maps. There seem to be bugs in the program, because all the maps had the same scripture reference next to them. If they can fix it, the extra features are nice, but I dont know how a customer would know that without paying the money and right now it is not worth it.

Wont open/monthly charge!!

For months, the app showed only the glow logo and never opened. Now I find out theyve apparently been charging me $9.99 PER MONTH. For how long, I dont know, because I signed up for Premium when they ran a special, but had no idea it was a monthly subscription. So, something I stopped using because it wouldnt open, but still charging me?

Awesome!

I love all of the Bible studies and all the versions!

No support, they took my money and gave me nothing

I paid for the premium version of this app, and the NIV version. Both withdrawn from my bank account. And none of the premium features will load nor the NIV version of the Bible. It just keeps asking me to pay again and again. I was very sad. So I wrote for support quite a few times. Never got a response. Considering asking apple for a refund at this point.

Confused

Long time Glo Bible App user. Got this new version when I upgraded my iPhone and logged in with my Premium account (not a monthly subscription but my long term pay $$$ once Premium account) and now I can only get to the premium content I paid for using the Store link and not inline while Im reading the Bible. What gives?

Dont fix what isnt broke

I hate this "updated" version with the power of a thousand suns!

Dont update

None of my commentaries work

A Colorful, Convenient Resource

My favorite feature is being able to highlight verses in different colors while studying. Easy to use, incredibly convenient and very user-friendly. Update as of October 31, 2016 - all of the above things were true until the latest update. The new version is terrible.

Authentication Failure

Downloaded the new version, deleted the old. Lost all of my notes. Cant access the store or translations. Keep getting an "authentication failure" alert. The Glo Bible site is gone. Doesnt even deserve a single star. You blew it guys. You turned a formerly great program into crap. I hope you fix it soon.

Different Translations

On my iPhone I am unable to change translations, and on my PC Glo Bible app it will not open at all and I tried downloading the new version/update. When this app works its one of my favorite bible apps. Please help I enjoy using this app when it works. Compare to other bible apps like youversion, bible gateway, e sword, blue letter bible etc. Aurelio Benavidez IIII grace to you.
